Koala Childcare

About Us/紹介

Our goal at Koala Childcare is to provide a warm, caring, and safe environment in which children are nutured based on their age-specific developmental needs.  We focus on engaging and respectful social interactions, good manners, personal hygiene, and healthy bodies.

 

Koala Childcare is owned and operated by Yumi Lin.  Yumi is a former nurse-midwife by training in Japan and has extensive experience caring for children.  Most notably:

  *In business for nearly 15 years

  *CDA Credential since 2010

  *Former preschool assistant teacher

  *Current in CPR and First Aid

 

コアラチャイルドケアーでは、充実したスタッフのもと年齢層が違う小さな社会環境の中で、お互いを思いやる気持ちを育み、基本的な生活習慣や感情のコントロールなど、人として生きていく上で必要な人間教育を重視しております。季節の行事や日本の文化を取り入れ、日本語で指導。年齢に応じた少人数制で幼児期に大切な成長、発達を促すようスタッフと保護者が一丸となって日々の保育に努力しております。

 

コアラチャイルドケアーは2002年9月現在の場所で園児6人で開園しました。日本で看護師、助産師をしていた経験を活かし、2010年にはCDA Credentialを取得しました。
